Introduction to Statistics

Prof. Marco Steenbergen from the Department of Political Science addressed and explained the use of statistical methods in the social sciences. In this course, participants took a critical look at the logic of statistical thinking and its application in the quantitative methods of the social sciences. The course combined a thorough yet clear introduction to descriptive statistics, probability theory, and statistical inference with hands-on exercises.
